Average price up 1.7 cents per litre from last week

TRURO - The following is a survey of furnace oil prices in the Truro/Colchester County area as of Feb. 20.

The prices are in cents per litre, before tax, and do not take into account minimum delivery amounts, volume discounts, specials, coupons or service packages that may be offered by some companies. This feature will appear weekly in the Daily News throughout the winter:

Average price for Feb. 20 is $1.137 per litre, which is up from last week’s average reporting of $1.12 per litre.
