“I don’t think we got enough rain to cause any flooding actually,” said Robert Levine.
Crews with the Town of Truro and Colchester County spent some time on Saturday with excavators removing ice that was jammed in the Salmon River. The excavators pulled the ice out of the river and piled it along the bank.
The work was done in preparation for the rain, however not as much fell as was expected.
There was, however, surface water that gathered in places because of ditches and drains being obstructed by ice.
