Ice broken on Salmon River

Crews with heavy equipment were busy Saturday morning breaking up and moving ice from the Salmon River in an effort to reduce flooding. Several people gathered in Riverfront Park to watch the four machines move large chunks of ice.

Good to see the town being pro-active in helping the average voter. I hope we had a good price for the equipment hire or was it our already paid road crew?
