TRURO – A mini-stealing spree by a Truro man has netted him a extended jail sentence beyond time he is already serving for other offences.

Matthew Donald Delaney, 28, of 18 Minerva Dr., Apt. 4, was sentenced in provincial court on Wednesday to an additional 90 days behind bars.

Delaney pled guilty to stealing from four separate individuals, on Dec. 8.

Items stolen by Delaney included eyeglasses, a calculator, slippers, an iPod, a DVD player, a handicap parking permit, a hunting knife and a pocket knife.
