At approximately 2:38 a.m., Truro patrol officers arrested the man. Officers responded to Pleasures and Treasures at 30 Mill St. and located the suspect near the business carrying a pillow case and a flashlight.
He will be charged with break and enter and damage to property. He will appear in Truro provincial court next month.
Truro Police is also investigating the theft of two tailgates from vehicles in Truro.
One was stolen from a truck at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, while the other from the Glengarry Tuesday night.
