At 11:30 p.m., RCMP responded to a robbery that occurred at a local convenience store on East Prince Street.

A male suspect entered the Needs store armed with a knife and demanded cash. The suspect grabbed a quantity of cash and the clerks's cell phone. The suspect fled and is believed to have left in a vehicle. A police service dog assisted the investigators but the suspect was not located. No one was injured.
