TRURO - If you didn’t top up your gas tank yesterday, expect to pay more at the pumps today.

Here is where Nova Scotia should stand out, get gas companies to put up competitive prices rather than whatever they like! 5 years ago gas was around 73c a litre, as they jerk the price up and down for no REAL reason we get used to the higher price. The price of oil, it's extraction and transportation has not increase by 100% since then but the product has. Read a big long article on this but ultimately the government gets a cut and sees it as a good source of income. No one seems to worry about the price fixing which would be illegal in other industries. 10 years time the number of electric cars will out number gas powered ones and the only one driving gas will be the poorer citizen who will need to pay even higher prices again for no real reason other than the companies are allowed to do this. Big business is no hard to understand, most cavemen understand the rules.
