Historic battle to be presented in Truro

TRURO – Colchester County’s connection with the Battle of Grand Pre in 1747 will be discussed here Thursday.

Archaeologist Jonathan Fowler will present ‘The Battle of Grand-Pré: Historiography, History and Archaeological Potential’ at the Colchester Historeum on Young Street at 7:30 p.m.

The presentation will include visuals and slides.

Everyone is welcome to attend the presentation. Admission for non-members is $2. For more information, call the historeum at 895-6284.
