Bundle up: wind chill warning in effect

TRURO – Environment Canada has issued a wind chill warning for Colchester County – Truro and south – for Wednesday.

With the wind chill this morning, the -19 C temperature feels like -29.

Extreme wind chill values of -35 are forecast for Wednesday night.

Very cold Arctic air combined with northwesterly winds will produce wind chill values of -35 overnight.

The forecast for Wednesday includes a mix of sun and cloud, with 30 per cent chance of flurries. High of -15.

Wednesday night’s forecast calls for partly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of flurries. Low of -22, extreme wind chill -35.
