Caution advised on provincial roads

TRURO – Cold temperatures and blowing snow have created hazardous conditions on highways throughout the province.

Motorists should avoid unnecessary travel and use extra caution if travel is required.

Provincial crews are working on clearing and sanding roads as quickly as possible, however salt is ineffective at present temperatures so conditions may be slipper on the highways.
