Colchester County representatives planning for trip west

Annual FCM conference to be held in Vancouver

TRURO - Six representatives from Colchester County will be travelling to Vancouver this year to represent the municipality at the annual Federation of Canadian Municipalities annual conference.

District 4 Councillor Mike Cooper and rookie councillors Mike Gregory of District 7 and Wade Parker, District 11, were chosen to attend after their names were drawn last week. Christine Blair, of District 1, was selected as the alternative if any one of the other councillors is unable to attend.

Additionally, Mayor Bob Taylor, Deputy Mayor Bill Masters and the county CAO are eligible to head west for the event.

The conference is to run from May 31 to June 3.

6 !!!!!!!!...you got to be kidding me . Sounds like a old fashioned field trip to me ...$$$$$ is no problem apparently.
