Man charged after woman struck with snow plow

BIBLE HILL – The driver of a snowplow who struck a woman on Pictou Road Tuesday afternoon has been charged with three offences.

The unidentified 41-year-old male from Truro Heights has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, driving while his driver's license was revoked and having no insurance.

A 20-year-old female was treated in hospital with non life-threatening injuries after being struck by a pickup truck equipped with a snowplow, while she was attempting to cross Pictou Road near the Dalhousie Agriculture campus in Bible Hill.

She has since been released from hospital.
