A white morning

Claude Rushton was just one Truro resident getting a workout with the snowblower and shovel early Monday morning after about 10 centimetres of snow fell overnight. There is a 60 per cent chance of flurries for Monday morning.

TRURO - With about 10 centimetres of snow falling overnight, many residents are out with their shovels or snowblowers this morning.

The temperature at 8:30 was -11 C, and Environment Canada isn't calling for much different for the day. Temperatures Monday afternoon are expecting to be around -10 C, with a low of -16 C overnight.

Monday's weather calls for clouds and a 60 per cent chance of flurries for the morning; clearing Monday afternoon.

The next call for snow is Wendesday, with Environment Canada calling for rain showers or flurries.

Just wondering where all the young people are, even my own father 78yrs old is shovelling, somethings wrong with this picture, and any children/grandchildren capable, better be ashamed!
