TRURO - Despite a little bit of rainy weather, the streets of Downtown Truro were lined people with Saturday night for the annual Santa Claus Parade.

Santa Claus was the man many residents lined the streets of Downtown Truro to see on Saturday night. The man in red arrived in a chair atop a float drawn by two horses.

Roughly 60 floats were entered in this year's parade with a theme of 'Classic Christmas Characters.'

Those characters included the Grinch, Scrooge, Father Time, the Three Wisemen and even Kevin McCallister from the 1990 film 'Home Alone,' among many others.

Christmas music was heard from many of the floats, while others simply hollered out holiday greetings from the floats. Those along the streets got to see some of the flips and cartwheels the Spartans gymnasts practice, as well as a treat of some dog agility from Little Mo's Paws of Fun.
