BIBLE HILL - Steve Weatherby couldn't stop smiling Tuesday afternoon.

Steve Weatherby of Bible Hill will once again be wheeling along the streets thanks to the arrival of his new electric scooter. The scooter, donated anonymously, was delivered to his home Tuesday after his was stolen more than a week ago.

That's because after spending a little more than a week without his electric scooter, his new one was delivered.

The 54-year-old's scooter was stolen from his shed overnight Nov. 4, but an anonymous donor, or donors, went into MacQuarries Pharmasave Home Health Centre and ordered a new one three days later.

"Woohoo!" exclaimed Weatherby as he rode his new scooter along his dead end street. "I got a new ride! This feels great."
