TRURO - Chaos Theory, which features Truro's Rock Johnson on vocals, received loud recording category accolades for their self-titled release, 'Chaos Theory,' during Sunday's Music Nova Scotia Awards in Liverpool.

Birch Hill native Will Fisher wasn't as fortunate, however.

Fisher, of the Will Fisher Coastal Quartet, was up for the jazz recording of the year category for his debut 'CD Portage.'

The award for that category went to the Halifax-based Gypsophilia, for its third recording 'Constellation (Forward, 2011).'
