TRURO – A vehicle/pedestrian accident that saw a mother and her 12-year-old daughter treated for minor injuries remains under investigation by the Truro Police Service.

The pair was struck by the vehicle shortly before noon Friday on Forrester Street near the Victoria Street intersection.

    "Minor injuries" is a bit understated! The mother is one of my best friends and is currently in Halifax... Talking on your cell phone is illegal for a reason. I think this law needs to be enforced, with very harsh consequences! I hope the man responsible apoligizes profusely... One very shaken up 12 year old and a mother who is going to need help for the next few weeks due to her injuries...
