TRURO - It's election day and we know that readers will want to know the results from Truro, Stewiacke and Colchester County as soon as possible.
That's why our news team will be hard at work bringing you all the results via trurodaily.com tonight within minutes of the polls closing at 7 p.m.
And there are several fascinating questions waiting to be answered.
Will longtime Truro mayor Bill Mills win another term or will newcomer Keltie Jones post an upset victory?
Are the three incumbent councillors safe in Truro's three wards? Or will there be a changing of the guard with plenty of new faces vying for seats?
And give the apparent popularity of electronic voting, what will the final percentage be?
What about in the county where seven districts are up for grabs? District 3 and District 5, in fact, have four candidates apiece, which should make for great races.
And in Stewiacke there are 11 candidates, including four incumbents, vying for six seats.
We'll have school board results, too.
It should be interesting and you'll have a front-row seat by visiting trurodaily.com.
In addition, watch for a total election recap in the Monday edition of the Truro Daily News.
