Remembrance Day service set for Veterans Memorial Park

BASS RIVER - On Nov. 11, Veterans Memorial Park in Bass River will once again host a full service for Remembrance Day.

This will commence at 10:30 a.m. with a veterans march to the park, followed by attending dignitaries from levels of government, Canadian Military, RCMP, and other groups who have been instrumental in working with Canadians during their service, and following.

A full slate of wreaths will be laid in memory, followed by a luncheon at the local school.

Anyone wishing to purchase a natural bough wreath to honour, or remember a loved one, friend, or just to remember, can call Heather Robinson at 647-2478. Wreaths are $25 each.
