TRURO – It will be nearly 14 months before two brothers from Hants County return to court on first-degree murder charges in the death of a Dartmouth woman.

Dustan Preeper, 24, and Joshua Preeper, 20, were charged in July in the death of Melissa Dawn Peacock.

The 20-year-old woman went missing after leaving her home last Nov. 7. Her body was later found in the Upper Stewiacke area.

Five days were set aside today in Truro provincial court for a preliminary inquiry beginning Dec. 2, 2013.

Dustan Preeper also faces a second-degree murder charge in the

July 2010 death of Ben Hare of Truro.

A preliminary hearing in that case has been scheduled for Dec.

16, 2013.
