Stewiacke man fined for failing breathalyzer

TRURO - A 24-year-old Stewiacke man was fined $1,000 after pleading guilty to failing the breathalyzer.

Steven Sanford Burris, of 4303 South Branch Rd., has until June 6, 2013 to pay the fine.

A one-year driving prohibition was also imposed.

The incident occurred Aug. 25 in Truro.

 

 

Princeport woman pleads guilty to driving while disqualified

TRURO - Jeanette Mary Lowe, 30, of 3852 Riverside Rd., Princeport, was fined $300 after entering a guilty plea to a charge of operating a motor vehicle while disqualified.

She has until April 4, 2013 to pay the fine and has been prohibited from driving for two years.

The incident occurred July 14 in Alton.

 

 

Probation for Bible Hill man charged with carrying concealed weapon

TRURO - A six-month probation order was imposed on Randall Lee MacKenzie, of 46 Main St., Bible Hill, after he pleaded guilty to one count each of carrying a concealed weapon and failing to comply with a probation order.

MacKenzie, 28, was given the same six-month sentence for each count, concurrent to a probationary order he's currently serving.

The incidents occurred July 24 in Truro.

 

 

Truro man fined for stealing

TRURO - Truro's Donald Damion Easton Sully was fined $150 after pleading guilty to one count of theft under $5,000.

Sully, 19, who lives at 36 Lawnwood Dr., has until April 4, 2013 to pay the fine.

The theft occurred May 5 in Truro.
