RCMP locate vehicle, release additional photos of Cunningham

The RCMP Southwest Nova Major Crimes Unit is releasing new photos of Wayne Alan Cunningham to aid in police efforts to locate him.

RCMP continue to work with other law-enforcement partners in an effort to locate Cunningham. His whereabouts are unknown at this time.

Earlier today, the Greenstone Detachment of Ontario Provincial Police located the 2003 Hyundai Elantra abandoned on a logging road, approximately 19kms off the highway in Long Lac Ontario District. The Nova Scotia plates were on the vehicle at the time it was located.

RCMP investigators continue to liaise with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) to arrange for transportation of David James Leblanc back to Nova Scotia. Leblanc remains in hospital under police custody. For medical reasons, he is unable to fly at this time.
