BRENTWOOD - Two men are facing charges in relation to drugs after a marijuana grow operation was dismantled on their property.

Late Tuesday afternoon, members of the RCMP Federal Drug Section, as well as local members, detained a property and executed a search warrant at a home on the Brentwood Road.

The RCMP seized about 275 marijuana plants, 15 pounds of dried marijuana, 100 grams of marijuana resin, cash, numerous firearms, ammunition and other drug paraphernalia.

An 18-year-old and 56-year-old were arrested at the scene and are expected to be released on conditions pending a court appearance in November.

The RCMP is continuing the investigation.

The public is reminded to contact any RCMP detachment, their local police or Crime Stoppers with any information on illegal drug activity or other crimes.
