TATAMAGOUCHE - An annual fall Tatamagouche tradition will again come to life this weekend.
The 33rd annual Oktoberfest takes place at the North Shore Recreation Centre on Friday and Saturday. Highlights include a dance on Friday night from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. The dance costs $10 per person.
On Saturday, the day-long beer garden has already been sold out, however, there is still space at the evening dance from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets cost $20 per person. Bands participating in the weekend include The Variations and The Saxons.
Music, dancing and food will be available at all events and event-goers must be at least 19 years of age to attend.
Tickets can be purchased in Tatamagouche at the Balmoral Motel, Fulton's Pharmasave; in Truro at Mingo Music Sales; in Malagash at Jost Vineyards; and in Denmark at the Pork Shop.
