TRURO - Don't be surprised to see some more flooding in Colchester County this week.
An estimated 30-40 millimetres of rain was predicted for Wednesday night and more is expected during the next three days.
"We should expect some flooding in low lying areas and our municipal services are ready to respond." said Robert Levine, Emergency Measures Organization co-ordinator for Stewiacke, Truro and Colchester County, in a news release.
"After the rainfall experienced in Colchester County over the last week and a half and the impending rainfall expected over the next four days, we ask residents to be cautious and practice due diligence around their homes and driving vehicles."
Large areas of Truro and the county were flooded on Sept. 17 after an estimated 240 millimetres of rain fell in a four-day period. This, combined with a morning high tide, resulted in the Salmon River and North River overflowing.
