TRURO - Kyle David Wheaton's bail hearing decision has been adjourned again.
The 26-year-old appeared in provincial court yesterday afternoon, however, the judge who heard the evidence in the hearing - Judge Warren Zimmer - was unavailable for the hearing.
Wheaton is facing charges of assault causing bodily harm, unlawful confinement, kidnapping, public mischief by misleading police and failing to comply with an undertaking, incidents alleged to have occurred between April 1 and 9 in Truro.
Wheaton was also charged with one count each of assault, uttering a threat to cause death and mischief or property damage against the same victim, dating to March 4 in Bible Hill.
He's facing a charge of failing to comply with an undertaking on April 1 in Truro, as well as failing to appear for identification purposes and failing to attend court on May 14 and 16, respectively.
He was arrested in Calgary on a Canada-wide warrant at the beginning of the month and returned to Nova Scotia.
He's scheduled to return for the decision at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
