Three men and one woman are facing charges after police seized weapons and drugs at a Sackville elementary school on Saturday night.

Halifax RCMP say just before 11 p.m., officers were called to Gertrude Parker Elementary School on Stokil Drive and found seven people on the school’s property.

Police say six of the people, all from Sackville, were arrested and officers seized two pellet guns, two knives, marijuana and open alcohol.

In the end, the cops charged four of the people.

Two 19-year-olds from Upper Sackville, one male and one female, will appear in court Oct. 31 to face a variety of charges, while an 18-year-old male, and a 21-year-old man, both from Lower Sackville, are due in court Nov. 7.

Hey Transcontinental.... look at a map or consult the Geographical Names Board of Canada.... There is no place in the entire province of Nova Scotia called simply ''Sackville''. There is a place called ''Lower Sackville'' and another one called ''Middle Sackville'' and yet another one called ''Upper Sackville'' but no place called simply ''Sackville''. If you look across the border in New Brunswick then you can find a place that is called ''Sackville'' as well as another place called ''Middle Sackville'' and another one called ''Upper Sackville''. Try to be more accurate would you?
