Truro man's status date adjourned

TRURO - A Truro man charged with aggravated assault on his son had a status date adjourned last week.

James Joseph Pumphrey, 25, had the status report rescheduled for Oct. 3 at 9:30 a.m.

He was arrested and charged in April last year after his son was taken to hospital with life-threatening brain and rib injuries.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 18, 20 and 21.
