New information phone numbers

TRURO – Residents looking for information on road closures because of heavy rainfall have a new set of numbers to call.

The previous information line was shut down before lunch on Tuesday.

Residents in the Town of Truro with any questions can now call 895-4243, while Colchester County residents can call 897-3160.

Because streets throughout the county are opening at different times, the most current and up-to-date lists are available by calling the numbers listed. The numbers are for the engineer offices for the respective municipalities, who are in constant contact with the public works crews manning the barricades.
