TRURO - An Indian Brook man is to appear in provincial court in Truro today on robbery charges relating to last Tuesday’s holdup at the Stewiacke  Pharmasave.

Jodi Sanipass, 18, was arrested later in the week in New Brunswick along with two other individuals.

The arrest was made through the joint efforts of Colchester district RCMP and fellow RCMP members in Elsipogtog, N. B.

The three individuals were arrested without incident in a traffic stop in Elsipogtog.

The police investigation also resulted in the seizure of a quantity of prescription pills and cash.

A quantity of pills was stolen from the Stewiacke Pharmasave last week by a male believed to have been carrying a handgun.

Sanipass is facing numerous charges and has been remanded into custody until his court appearance today.

A 20-year-old female was released to appear in provincial court at a later date and a 40-year-old male was released without charges.
