TRURO - A new video has been created to help raise local awareness about society and end-of-life care.
"Canadians generally avoid talking about death," said Cathrine Yuill, the executive director of the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society, which as released the video.
"It's just not a part of our culture. But at some time and in some way, we will all face end of life. By talking about death and dying we can become better at supporting each other and finding the support we need within our communities. We can remember that death and grief are a normal part of life."
The video was produced locally and is being well received both regionally and nationally.
