TRURO - The Battle of Britain marks its 72nd anniversary this year and local cadets and veterans will lead a ceremony in its honour.
Members from the AFAC 102 Wing, along with members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 26, will march to the cenotaph on Prince Street on Sept. 16.
The service will begin at 12:50 p.m.

Wreaths will be laid by members of the 102 Wing and local dignitaries in memory of lost members of the Air Force and the Canadian Armed forces. A fly pass will take place during the ceremony.
A reception will be held at the 102 Wing at 22 Cottage St. Truro, after the service.
