WALLACE - A 76-year-old Colchester County woman died at the scene of a car collision in Wallace Wednesday afternoon.
The woman, who hasn't been identified because of notification of next of kin, was one of three passengers in a car travelling on Highway 6 in Wallace. The RCMP have confirmed, however, that the woman was from the Tatamagouche area.
The vehicle was the only one involved in the collision, which occurred at 3:43 p.m.
One passenger was flown to hospital in Halifax by Life Flight, while the driver was transported to hospital in Halifax by EHS.
The fourth occupant was treated on scene for minor injuries.
A traffic collision analyst was on scene overnight and the investigation is continuing.
