TATAMAGOUCHE - Tickets are now on sale for the largest Oktoberfest east of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont.
The 33rd annual North Shore Bavarian Society Oktoberfest will take place Sept. 28 and 29, with more than 3,000 participants expected to join in the festivities.
The event includes a beer garden on Saturday afternoon plus a dance on Friday and Saturday evenings. Top-notch German bands play endlessly at the three functions.
The concession booths include Canadian and German cuisine, such as sausages, schnitzel, lobster roll and delicate cheesecakes.
A variety of souvenirs and beverages are available from Domestic and German beers to local wines and Imported spirits, and the infamous Schnapps Bar, soft drinks and coffees are also available.
Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Atlantic Box Office, participating Superstores, several businesses in Tatamagouche, along with Mingo's Music Sales in Truro, Wandlynn Inn, Amherst.
