Colchester RCMP, Truro Police Service and the Colchester Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a resident on Blainedale Drive at 9 a.m. Friday and seized 50 marijuana plants and a quantity of harvested marijuana.
The grow operation was being done both inside the residence and outside on the property.
The man will appear in Truro provincial court on Nov. 14 to face charges including production of marijuana and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
A 40-year-old female resident was also arrested at the scene, but was released without charges.
