EARLTOWN - The fourth annual Earltown Gathering festivities will take place this weekend with a little something for everyone.

The event will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of Sugar Moon Farm at 221 Alex MacDonald Rd. Some of the activities featured will be pipes and Scottish music, historic sword fighting, clan gatherings and all-day Scottish breakfast.

There will also be a tour of the historic MacKenzie Cemetery. Registration begins at Sugar Moon Farm at 9:30 a.m., with the tour beginning at 10 a.m. Stories about the history of the site and early settlers buried there will be shared with a presentation offered by Glen Matheson. Admission is by donation and all proceeds go toward the upkeep of the local historic cemeteries.
