Taking on Victoria Park

Runners in the final heat of the third annual VP Challenge take off from the start line at Victoria Park on Saturday. The VP Challenge includes six obstacles during the 5km race.

TRURO - One hundred runners laced up their sneakers to take on Truro's Victoria Park on Saturday in the VP Challenge.

With a number of heats, runners raced through five kilometres of the park, complete with six different obstacles - Jacob's Ladder, army crawl, the wall, over/under, tunnel and tires/pushups/situps.

The man with the white hat and black shirt looks to have a very powerful stride.
