Truro man arrested, facing marijuana charges

TRURO - A 34-year-old Truro man is facing charges in relation to marijuana trafficking following a search of his Brunswick Street residence.

Members of the Truro Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit arrested the man on Wednesday for possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

During a search of the man's residence, about four ounces of marijuana was seized, as well as other items related to drug trafficking.

The man also faces multiple counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

He's been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in Truro provincial court in August.
