TRURO - Two new members have been added to the Central Nova Scotia Civic Centre lineup.
Patrick Mulholland has been appointed facility operations manager and Kathryn MacPhee will fill the aquatic manager role.
Mullholland has spent the past six years in Saskatchewan and Alberta working with Husky Energy as their operations supervisor and has an extensive background in power engineering.
Originally from Mabou, he now resides in North River with his wife Kayla.
MacPhee brings a diverse range of programming experience in recreation and aquatics along with experience in developing and implementing aquatic initiatives at new facilities.
A Yarmouth native, she moved to Riverview, N.B., at the age of five and Lantz at the age of 13. After graduating with a kinesiology degree from St. Francis Xavier, she lived in Montreal, Australia and Alberta and just recently moved to Truro.
"We were very pleased with the response received for both positions", says Jim Lambert, general manager of the Central Nova Scotia Civic Centre. "Many highly skilled candidates responded. "However, we are confident both Patrick and Kathryn bring the experience and energy necessary for each of these roles. They will be a huge asset to both the centre and the community."
