But the fast response of the Tatamagouche Fire Department prevented any further damage to other neighbouring vessels, deputy chief Ian MacDonald said
“The boat was fully involved when we got there,” he said, of the craft, which was sitting on a trailer near the water.
The owner of marina called in the fire shortly before 5:30 a.m.
MacDonald said the cause of the fire is undetermined at this point and there was no indication of anyone being in the area at the time.
Approximately 25 volunteer fire fighters were on the scene for about an hour.
