Roadwork continues throughout county

TRURO - Roadwork is continuing on a number of roads throughout Colchester County this summer.

Belmont Road, from Trunk 2 north to Onslow Mountain Road and Belmont Road underpass, will be reduced to one lane for maintenance until July 21. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset and traffic control is on site.

Until Aug. 31, the Coldstream Road, for about six kilometres south from the Alton Road, will be reduced to one lane for paving.

Work takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

In North River, the Sabra Lynds Bridge, Rte. 311, will be reduced to one lane for bridge repairs until July 6.

Traffic signals are on site and work takes place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
