TATAMAGOUCHE - A community conversation will be held tonight in anticipation of the new collaborative emergency centre that's opening next month at the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital in Tatamagouche.

Part of the province's Better Care Sooner Plan, the centre aims to enhance access to primary health-care services to help respond to urgent and emergency care needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A community conversation about the process, and how it will work, will take place on at the Tatamagouche fire hall on Main Street from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The public will be able to ask questions, meet health-care providers and learn about the new initiative's benefits. Everyone is welcome to attend.
