TRURO - Graduation ceremonies for Grade 12 students at the Cobequid Educational Centre (CEC) will be held at the Colchester Legion Stadium on June 28, not the school's audio visual room as previously planned.

The move to the Colchester Legion Stadium is to accommodate the many parents, grandparents, guardians and friends that join students for this exciting occasion.

CEC students will be given two tickets for the floor seating, as well as two tickets for the reserved section in the stands. All other stadium seating will be on a first come basis.

The graduation ceremony will start at 7:30 p.m. All graduates are asked to line up according to alphabetical signs in the downstairs CEC hallway at 6:30 p.m.

Students are reminded of the mandatory 9 a.m. rehearsal on June 28 where they will receive their gown and tickets.

CEC Safe Grad has also changed locations. Safe Grad activities will now be held at the AgriDome in Bible Hill the evening of June 28. Students will be allowed to enter the Agri-Dome beginning at 11 p.m. There will be no entry past midnight and students are expected to stay until 5 a.m. Safe Grad activities will go on throughout the night. Parental permission is required in order for a grad to leave the event early. Photo ID is required for entry to Safe Grad.

For more information on graduation activities, contact the CEC main office at 896-5700.

I believe it should be "Students will be allowed to enter the Agri-Dome beginning at 11p.m. There will be no entry past midnight" not "11a.m." as stated in your article.
