TRURO - Anyone planning to register for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers for next year can save some money by doing so early.
Scouts Canada is offering registration for all categories for the 2012-2013 year at a reduced fee of $125 providing you register by June 30. The fee after that will be $145.
Registration through area scouting will take place during the following dates and locations:
June 14 - Registration for Second Bible Hill Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. David's United Church in Bible Hill. Contact Shane Keddy at 897-1069.
June 18 - Registration for Second Valley Beavers and Cubs is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Valley Elementary School in Valley. Contact Krista Stott-Jones at 843-5736.
June 20 - Registration for First Lower Truro Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers happens between 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lower Truro Hall on Kent Road. Contact Beth Emery at 893-8457.
June 27 - Registration for Third Truro Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrew's United Church in Truro. Contact Jon Davison at 893-3890.
June 28 - Registration for Second Truro Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers is being held from 6:30 to - 7:30 p.m. at First United Church hall in Truro. Contact Yvette Hatcher at 895-8053.
