TRURO – A Bible Hill man will be on the premiere episode of a brand new TV contest in a month’s time.

Neil Harris just found out that he would be on the Sunday, April 3rd edition of Wipeout Canada on TVTropolis.

“They moved us to episode one,” he said, noting his episode had initially been planned for the fifth episode.

“I don’t think it had anything to do with me,” Harris laughed in a telephone conversation with the Truro Daily News. “They said our episode was particularly strong and entertaining.”

Jennifer Thompson, also a Bible Hill resident, will make her appearance on the second episode to be aired Sunday, April 10.

The show is well known across the country from its American broadcasts that started in 2008. Essentially, the program is described as a hilarious TV game show bringing contestants from a variety of backgrounds together to do a variety of tasks.

Check local listings for the airtime.
