TATAMAGOUCHE – The Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital emergency room will be closed from 5 p.m. Sunday until 8 a.m. Monday.
It will then be closed again later the same day from 5 to 8 p.m. because of physician shortages.
In the event of an emergency during times when the emergency department is closed, individuals are encouraged to contact 911 or visit the nearest available emergency department.
For non-emergency situations, individuals are advised to contact their family physician or visit the nearest available walk-in clinic.
Those who would like further advice can call 811 to speak to a registered nurse.
