N.S. RCMP believe man wanted in Antigonish killing likely no longer in province

HALIFAX - The RCMP believe a Halifax man wanted for the New Year's Eve killing of an Antigonish-area man is no longer in Nova Scotia.
Robert Harris Lamb, 20, was charged with second-degree murder on Feb. 1 in the killing of Jonathan Beaton, 25.
Staff Sgt. Tony Perry of Antigonish RCMP said they heard shortly after Lamb was charged that he had left the province.
Beaton died in hospital on New Year's Day, a few hours after police were called to a large brawl that broke out at a large party. Four others had to be taken to hospital.
Three other people are charged in connection to the same incident, including Chris Fordham, 19, of Antigonish and Julian Chittick, 24, of Halifax.
