Two men arrested following large ecstasy bust in St. Johns, N.L.

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Two men accused in the seizure of 15,000 ecstasy tablets in Newfoundland have been denied bail.
Hassan Kamel Al-amiri, 24, of St. John's and Mahmood Ahmed Alsaihati, 24, of Saudi Arabia are facing charges of trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They were arrested following a search of a St. John's home Friday.
A quantity of cocaine and some cash were also seized.
An additional count of possession for the purpose of trafficking has been laid against one of the accused in relation to the cocaine.
The two men will be held in custody until their next provincial court appearance on Sept. 8.
