Celebrate or complain, your choice, now on to business, and if you want business as usual do nothing! Making municipal politics work involves people participating. Giving feedback to your representatives and calling them to task if it is not replied to,demanding that feedback is sought on all changes, these are how to make our governance a grass roots process.

How many people does it take to change a light bulb in Truro? What? Truro change?!?! :(. Very disappointed those archaic views are back in office.

Congrats Mayor Bill. If it works, don't mess with it! Mayor Bill has done a great job of leading the Town of Truro over the past years. Hopefully the opposition will support him and council in the next four years to keep and make Truro a wonderful place to live and work.

I am disappointed at the snarky remarks over Bill Mills re-election. The people of Truro have spoken. Ms. Jones ran a good race and deserves a pat on the back; but spare me the sarcasm over living in the past. Truro is proud of it`s history and culture; and that is why so many have chosen to live here. Political correctness does not mean you get to shove certain agendas down people`s throats. That is why we have elections; that is democracy.

Congrats to Mr. Bill Mills. His dedication, hard work and behind the scenes action has proven how valuable he is to the town of Truro. I am delighted to see that people have come to appreciate him as so many of his peirs do across Canada. I am thankful that a man whose feet have been firmly planted in this town for all these years is remaining in office. May the next four years be prosperous, enjoyable and unified. Well done.

The majority of voters made the right choice, though given Mayor Mills' track record, he should have won by a much wider margin.

Congratulation, Mayor Bill, on another successful campaign. You have earned this position to represent Truro, due to caring and hard work. Municipal challenges can often be very difficult; and we also offer our thanks to those who remain on Council, and those who have left the Municipal scene, for their commitment to our town---Councillors Beyers, Cooke, and Cox. And thank you to the new faces on Council who wish to bring new insight into public debate.

I was a supporter of Keltie. She has awakened people in this town and I hope that we all hold Mayor Mills to account for his coming term. I wish that she had won but I extend my cautious congratulations to Bill Mills.
