Lots of choices in Truro election

TRURO - With three of the six incumbent councillors not reoffering, at least half of Truro's town council will consist of new faces when this month's municipal election is completed.

The remaining positions and the mayor's seat are also up for grabs as there is competition in all three wards, for mayor, for the local school bard seat and for the African-Nova Scotian school board seat.

The first day of electronic voting starts tomorrow at noon and runs until Oct. 20 at 7 p.m.

The following is the list of candidates that Truro voters can chose from.
